On September 10, 2026, the SparkVision team took part in Robotics Strategy Forum 2026 - a forum organized by Sofia Tech Park at the Innovation Forum John Atanasov in Sofia, dedicated to the future of robotics, automation, and intelligent manufacturing. It brought together people from business, research, the public sector, and the tech community to share best practices, new technologies, and opportunities to work together across sectors.
At the SparkVision stand, visitors could see two of our products up close:
- SparkVision Glasses 2 - assistive glasses that give you spoken information about text, receipts, products, colours, money, transit, and your surroundings, with a built-in AI assistant, navigation, and calls to a trusted person.
- Workstation Work Assistant - a reading workstation that turns documents into text you can hear, enlarge, edit, search, and save.

The forum was a good chance for us to show how assistive technology fits into conversations about robotics, automation, and artificial intelligence, and to meet people working in those fields. Robotics and AI are usually discussed in terms of industry and manufacturing, but the same technologies also sit behind products that give people with visual impairments more independence day to day.
