Start with the task
We start with what you're trying to do, then work backward to how the product should behave. A feature earns its place only if it makes the task easier.

SparkVision develops innovative hardware and software that gives blind and low-vision people independent access to the visual world. From smart glasses to reading stations, we build assistive technology that turns everyday visual information into something you can hear - and act on your own.
people live with blindness worldwide
estimated annual productivity loss from blindness
Today 43 million people are blind. By 2050, that number will reach 61 million. Productivity loss from blindness is estimated at a staggering $43.6 billion a year.
Blindness raises a barrier between you and the external world. It strips you from privacy and independence. It makes it harder to work and study. For many blind people today, life still depends on having help nearby.
That is changing. Advances in AI, sensing, and portable hardware have made it possible to truly understand the world in real time, in context, and at a human scale.
For the first time, assistive technology can move from being occasionally helpful to being a true assistant: always available, intelligent, and built around the user.

The camera, controls, speech, and AI should work as one. The moment the product asks for too much attention, it's getting in the way.
We learn the most from people using SparkVision out in the real world - not in our office. What they tell us shapes how we improve and what comes next.

We're a team of engineers and designers from Bulgaria, building assistive products for a need that spans the globe. Our work brings together hardware, software, product design, field testing, and a lot of direct conversation with the people who use what we make.

“After several years of prototyping, we released the first generation of SparkVision smart glasses in 2025 and put them in the hands of hundreds of people.
Seeing how people use these tools in daily life fuels our drive to keep improving. With SparkVision Glasses 2 Ultra, we believe we have a strong assistive product ready to support users at global scale.”
